We machine metal. We do not build quartz movements, and we will not pretend to. Braun has been refining this clock since Dietrich Lubs drew the AB1 in 1987, under the design program Dieter Rams ran — the lineage every restrained object, ours included, owes something to. A precision electromechanical product needs an electronics supply chain, certifications, and forty years of iteration a pre-launch metal shop does not have. So we point you to the maker.

A direct descendant of the AB1, designed by Dietrich Lubs at Braun. The restraint is not styling. It was policy.
Quiet movement
A quartz tick you have to listen for. The alarm is a crescendo beep, with snooze and a backlight where your thumb lands in the dark.

57mm square, matte black case and dial. Luminous-tipped hands and one yellow second hand do all the talking.
